Entry tertangguh ;)
Last week we joined Convoy Perdana organised by Kelab Toyota Utara. My second convoy since d 1st convoy to Teluk Batik in 2010. Three family represent 4AEOC (toyota club) from KL/Putrajaya/Senawang including us. We moved as a group from Sg. Buloh at 11.00 am and arrived Kangar at around 7.00pm. Stayed one nite at InaiP Homestay. Seriously, very nice homestay, reasonable dan sangat2 affordable worth RM80 per nite, negotiable lagi...which I could say it's better than S*i M*sia. Oppss...
So, the next day....
Instead of 3 cars yesterday, today it became 20 cars. They were all from TOMAN (Toyota Manjung ) & T-Utara (Toyota Utara). A bit difference from last convoy. The event management was quite systematic and smooth. The AJK had invited Ahli Parlimen Kangar (if I'm not mistaken) to officially launch d event. Then we were taken to immigration under police escort u know...
haha.

At 10.00 pm, all passports and car documents had been checked by our immigration and their customs. To cross the border, we were told not to forget to include RM1 in our passport for their 'service'. What service did they mean coz they were paid to do this job what? Just imagine how much they got if 100 people a day in one month? Tu baru pegi saje. Blum time balik lagi..huh!
Then we moved to Padang Besar Thailand. Ada Majlis Ucap Selamat Datang lak kat Pejabat Mayor Padang Besar, Thailand ni. "Sawatdee Khrab!"...heheh. Our tourist guide can speak both Thais n Malays. No wonder he became our translator. They served us a cup of coffee and kuih tako. Tepung pelita Bazar Ramadhan sini lagi sedap!!
We stayed at Hat Yai Garden Home Hotel. Quite reasonable too. Otw to Hat Yai we stopped at one Muslim restaurant to have lunch. Tomyam die sangatlah tiptop! ;) Sy order tomyam je setiap kali mkn..hehe.
In Hat Yai, it's hard to see their petrol station fulled with cars as compared to our country. Most of the time I could see none! Minyak mahal kat sane...Therefore, full tank was compulsory in order to save budget. Jalan2 sekitar Hat Yai kami naik 'tuk tuk' aje..hehe.
On d nite we went to Klonghae Floating Market. If u loved shopping this was one of the place that u could visit. There were verities of food, handbags and shirts sold here. Of all these things, I was only interested on Muaz clothes. Selera pelik pun ada dijual di sini ;) Crispy ulat2, kala jengking n katak...erk!

I didn't breakfast in d hotel even though the food specially prepared for us. Bread, telur mata n sosej. How do you know they prepared without using the same frying pan/oil as they used to cook non-halal food..erk? the plate as well. So, if u traveled by car bring as much bread/biscuits or instant food as u can to prevent hunger.
Orang Thailand ni memang mendaulatkan raja diorang as u can see the pic above. Banyak sgt gmba raja di kiri & kanan jalan raya.
On the next day we moved to Songkhla. Naik feri ngn keta tapi tak sempat panas bont** dah sampai..hehe. Jalan2 di pantai Songkhla.
Tengoklah ape si Muaz buat tuh? hehe
The famous part in Thailand was Thai Massage. People describe Thai massage as both relaxing and energizing. Have u tried? Abah did try once. Urut kaki je. Sedap katanye. I really wanted too but who else will take care of Muhammad Muaz. Kasi chance la kat driver ;) Abah urut kaki, mama main kejar2 ngn Muaz kat tempat urut tuh. Adoi la :D
Oh..lupa plak pasar malam. Mmg besar psr malam Hat Yai ni. Tapi ada sedikit hanyir sbb pasar jual2 baju berdepan ngan org2 jual2 mknn...erk lagi...paham2 je la kan...halal food sebelah2 je non-halal food...erk!
Hari terakhir kami di Hat Yai. Sesi bergambar dengan ibu2 yang mengescort laki masing2.
On our back home, we stopped at Padang Besar Thailand to do some shopping. I bought 5kg of mangga Siam. Unfortunately, we got stuck at their immigration. Coincidentally, Jabatan Pertanian Padang Besar (I think so) did their inspection that day. They did not allow us to bring the fruits back because of the permit issue. What permit was all about? We bought just 4 us to eat and not for sold. And I think the permit issue was only applied to the farmers. But the second reason I may considered was the safety issue. The content of racun serangga that they used might be not safe for us. Well, if we knew earlier we wouldn't buy the mangga siam yang sedap & manis tu. Terbang gtu je 200 Baht..heh. Tak nak kempunan beli jugak lah mangga tu kat Padang Besar Perlis ;)
Kesimpulannya...dapatlah tgk budaya n negara orang nih ;) (ayat standard buat kesimpulan essay form 5...;p)
